The Salata Institute Liaisons Program builds a close-knit, student-led, interdisciplinary climate community that spans Harvard's schools and grows stronger with each returning cohort. Liaisons serve as connectors: they conduct peer-to-peer outreach, engage with students, faculty, and staff working on climate and sustainability across campus, and advance the Salata Institute's mission. The program is designed for sustained involvement, with participants encouraged to return year after year to deepen relationships across schools and pass on institutional knowledge to new members. Through their participation, Liaisons strengthen the networks that link students engaged in climate work and develop the leadership and communication skills central to effective climate advocacy.
